On May 15, China Unicom's Gansu Branch held a conference titled "Solidify the Digital Foundation, Jointly Depict Intelligent Connectivity in Longyuan" in Lanzhou. Guided by four key strategic areas—connectivity, computing power, service, and security—the company has comprehensively embarked on a new journey of upgrading its digital and intelligent services.
Building on the foundation of "connectivity," the company is advancing quality upgrades. China Unicom's Gansu Branch will achieve continuous 5G-A coverage in towns and townships and widespread adoption in administrative villages. For individual customers, it has innovatively launched the industry's first self-selectable communication service product—Unicom Magic Cube. For household customers, it is accelerating the widespread adoption of gigabit broadband, offering unconditional acceptance of gigabit and 2-gigabit broadband in county-level areas and above. It has also introduced innovative household smart broadband products. For enterprise clients, it offers 10-gigabit dedicated lines. Its cloud networking dedicated lines connect 460 cloud resource pools domestically and internationally, enabling high-speed interconnection across multiple clouds. The "Cloud Broadband + FTTO" networking solution provides small and medium-sized enterprises with all-optical networking and 10-gigabit cloud access solutions.
With "computing power" as the core, the company is driving technological upgrades. China Unicom's Gansu Branch has established a province-wide computing power layout centered on the Qingyang and Lanzhou New District intelligent computing hubs, forming a "1+1+14" structure and creating the Unicom Cloud Intelligent Computing product system. It focuses on the dual engines of "Data Elements ×" and "Artificial Intelligence +" to achieve intelligent-driven operations. Leveraging the "Wanwu" intelligent agent platform and the Gewu Industrial Internet platform, it connects over 10 million industrial devices and has accumulated 179 intelligent agents. Unicom Cloud Rhino provides three major capabilities: AI data analytics, AI-assisted sales, and AI assistants. For the manufacturing industry, it has launched an AI predictive maintenance platform. Simultaneously, the secondary node of the Gansu Industrial Internet Identifier Resolution System has been launched.
With "service" as the foundation, the company is enhancing integrity and reliability. China Unicom's Gansu Branch has announced the "Top Ten Warm Service Initiatives for Information and Communications by 2026." For the consumer market, it has upgraded six service commitments. Among these, the broadband "480" service (4-hour installation, 8-hour fault repair, zero rejection of service requests) has been upgraded to the "360" service (3-hour installation, 6-hour fault repair, zero rejection of service requests). For enterprise clients, it has introduced the "720" service commitment—72-hour delivery, unconditional acceptance, along with seven extended services, providing full-cycle, butler-style support.
With "security" as the shield, the company is advancing protection upgrades. China Unicom's Gansu Branch is nearing completion of a fully localized, domestically developed government cloud for Gansu, certified under the Class 3 requirements of the Cybersecurity Level Protection 2.0 standard. It has built the "Gansu Cybersecurity Situational Awareness" platform, serving 711 enterprise clients, and leverages its integration capabilities to create the "Mogong" security operation service platform. It has upgraded its enterprise-grade dedicated network lines to achieve 99.999% annual reliability. Security situations are displayed on a single screen with real-time risk awareness, enabling full management of cloud and network operations, end-to-end encryption, and providing cloud and network security guarantees for multiple financial institutions.
