A company has announced a half-day off for its entire workforce to watch the World Cup final.
On July 15th, NetEase (NTES) issued a notice stating that on the morning of Monday, July 20th, all employees will be given a half-day holiday. The move is to allow staff to fully enjoy the final night of the tournament and watch the game until the final whistle without worry.
The World Cup semi-final between England and Argentina kicked off at 3 a.m. Beijing time on July 16th at Atlanta Stadium. Argentina defeated England 2-1 to advance to the final.
