At the 2026 Hong Kong International Innovation and Technology Expo (InnoEX) and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council's Spring Electronics Fair, renowned robotics company Zhi Ping Fang presented its general-purpose intelligent robot "Aibao," demonstrating its ability to prepare coffee on-site. During the demonstration, the "Aibao" robot exhibited real-time environmental perception and autonomous task understanding, smoothly handling the entire process from fetching a cup and identifying coffee machine buttons to operating the equipment precisely and completing the beverage. According to a representative from Zhi Ping Fang, the robot can now produce a cup of coffee in under two minutes. "Aibao is already capable of operating various common coffee machines on the market without relying on specific equipment, showcasing the powerful generalization capabilities enabled by embodied large models," the representative added. The robot has been deployed in "Zhi Mo Fang" spaces in cities like Beijing and Shenzhen, where it stably produces hundreds of coffee beverages daily with zero errors, proving its reliability in real-world, high-frequency, and long-duration operations. More importantly, as a general-purpose intelligent robot, Aibao's core value lies in its versatility—"one robot, multiple capabilities." It has already been implemented in various practical scenarios, including industrial manufacturing and public services. For instance, in factory settings, Aibao can perform tasks such as material transport, loading and unloading, storage, and inspection.
