The National and Local Co-built Humanoid Robot Innovation Center's pilot public service platform has officially commenced operations, as confirmed on July 18th.
Located in the Zhangjiang Robot Valley in Shanghai's Pudong district, the facility establishes a fully integrated pilot loop encompassing research & development trial production, precision assembly, comprehensive testing, and warehousing & delivery.
It possesses the capacity for an annual output of 2,000 complete units and 2,000 sets of core precision components.
The platform is poised to provide crucial support for Pudong's embodied intelligent industry, spanning from R&D to mass production, effectively reducing the costs associated with establishing research and production lines.
It will also serve to accumulate standardized processes and empirical testing data, aiding in the clustered development of related industries in the Yangtze River Delta region.
As the nation's first pilot zone for innovative AI applications, Pudong has consistently leveraged its three core strengths: institutional innovation breakthroughs, an attractive open environment, and integrated industrial chains.
With the launch of this new platform, the Pudong New Area will further concentrate resources for the artificial intelligence industry, accelerate the evolution of integrated and innovative industrial paradigms, and expedite the creation of a world-class AI industry hub characterized by comprehensive development and leadership across all domains.
