Deep News2025-12-19

On December 19, Shenzhen Capchem Technology Co.,Ltd. (Capchem) responded to investor inquiries via an interactive platform, stating that its subsidiary HanKang Electronic Materials specializes in the production and operation of lithium battery additives. Its product portfolio includes VC (Vinylene Carbonate) and FEC (Fluoroethylene Carbonate), among others.

Currently, HanKang has an existing VC production capacity of approximately 10,000 tons, with an additional 5,000 tons under construction, expected to commence operations in the second half of 2026. The precursor CEC (Chloroethylene Carbonate) has an annual production capacity of 35,000 tons, sufficient to support the production of 15,000 tons of VC and 8,000 tons of FEC.

At present, the overall capacity utilization rate of Capchem's battery chemicals business remains at a reasonable level. As a high-value-added product, VC has seen continuously rising demand since Q4 and is currently operating at full production with strong sales.

Regarding future capacity planning, the company will make decisions and proceed based on market conditions and customer demand.
