ETF Market Update | Southern 2x Long NVIDIA Product Climbs Nearly 8% as Jensen Huang Signals Massive AI Infrastructure Spending

Stock News09-03 12:04

Southern 2x Long NVIDIA (07788) surged nearly 8% on Thursday, reaching HK$179.20, up 7.95% at the time of writing with a turnover of HK$1.45 million.

The rally comes after NVIDIA Corp (NASDAQ: NVDA) chief executive Jensen Huang announced at the G20 Tech Summit that the company would invest nearly $1 trillion in US infrastructure this year alone. He compared AI to essential public utilities like water and electricity, calling it the "greatest equalizer," and stressed that every nation needs to build infrastructure to support its economy.

This bullish stance has reinforced market expectations for continued expansion in global AI capital expenditure. In a rare move, NVIDIA provided a multi-year revenue outlook, projecting approximately 70% year-over-year growth for fiscal 2028, which has drawn significant attention.

According to a JPMorgan research note, NVIDIA's vice president of investor relations and strategic finance, Toshiya Hari, indicated during discussions that the company's business growth could more than double year-over-year if supply constraints were removed. This statement highlights the conservative nature of the current guidance — the 70% forecast reflects achievable growth under existing supply conditions, not the upper limit of actual demand.
