Tencent's QClaw Product Manager Zhang Shuyu Departs, Company Yet to Comment

Deep News19:13

Reports have emerged indicating that Zhang Shuyu, the product manager for Tencent's QClaw, has left the company.

In a post on a social media platform, Zhang Shuyu herself confirmed her departure from TENCENT on June 29th. She reflected on her experience developing the consumer-facing product QClaw for the first time, noting that "QC and WB share the same boss, and at times the growth teams were composed of the same group of people."

She also addressed speculation, stating, "There was never any internal 'horse racing' competition, so I always found it amusing when friends would bluntly ask me about it—how come I'd never even heard of such a term? When consensus is reached, everyone just gets on with the work." She added, "Later, many more people joined, the scope of work expanded, and complexity increased, especially within such a massive organization. Nevertheless, there were still many excellent colleagues from whom I kept learning new things, achieving one small milestone after another."

Zhang Shuyu shared her personal goals, saying, "At age 20, I set a target to earn a million annually by 25. I rushed to achieve that, then started setting goals for 30, aiming to create a phenomenal product. Surprisingly, I reached that by 26, so now I need new goals. This time, I must set one with greater vision: I hope to solve one or multiple problems that perplex humanity."

Inquiries regarding this news were made to TENCENT, but no response had been received as of the time of reporting.
