Xinyi Energy Introduces Scrip Dividend Option for 1H 2026; Shareholder Election Closes 21 September

Xinyi Energy Holdings Limited has announced that shareholders may choose to receive the interim dividend for the six months ended 30 June 2026 either wholly in cash or partly/entirely in new shares under a scrip dividend scheme.

Key details are as follows:

1. Record Date • Eligibility for the interim dividend is based on the share register as at 19 August 2026.

2. Election Mechanics • To receive the dividend fully in cash, no action is required. • To receive the dividend partly or wholly in new shares, shareholders must complete and return the prescribed Form of Election to Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited, 17M Floor, Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen’s Road East, Wanchai, Hong Kong. • The completed form must arrive no later than 4:30 p.m. on Monday, 21 September 2026. • If the form is not correctly completed or received by the deadline, the entire interim dividend will be paid in cash.

3. Settlement Schedule • Share certificates for scrip shares and cheques for any cash portion of the dividend will be dispatched by ordinary post on Wednesday, 30 September 2026. Dispatch will be at shareholders’ own risk.

4. Default Provisions • If no share number is specified, or if the number exceeds the registered holding, the company will deem the shareholder to have elected to receive the entire dividend in shares. • In cases of joint holdings, all holders must sign the election form; corporate shareholders must sign through an authorised officer.

Xinyi Energy’s board has stated that its decision on any disputes arising from the scrip dividend scheme will be final and binding.
