Siemens CEO Highlights Need for Industrial AI "Operating System" to Bring AI into Reality

Deep News03-31

Siemens AG's Chairman, President, and CEO recently emphasized that bringing artificial intelligence into the real world requires not only advanced models but also an industrial AI "operating system"—a technology stack that connects data, software, and intelligent hardware.

According to the CEO, Siemens is advancing through deeper partnerships and the continuous evolution of new products tailored to customers' actual needs. By leveraging the open digital business platform Siemens Xcelerator, the company integrates various capabilities, enabling industrial AI to be acquired and implemented at scale.

Recently, Siemens launched 26 new products and announced a deepening of its strategic collaboration with Alibaba. This initiative aims to merge Siemens' global technological strengths with local innovation in China, spanning areas such as industrial infrastructure, automation, and AI-enabled applications.

As part of this collaboration, Siemens plans to validate and deploy its CAE cloud solution on Alibaba Cloud. This will provide customers with a scalable cloud simulation environment, including virtual simulation equipment and high-performance computing clusters, helping engineering teams execute complex simulation tasks more efficiently while leveraging the elasticity and flexible scalability of Alibaba Cloud's infrastructure.
