SINOPEC SEG Sets 30 September 2026 EGM to Elect New Executive and Non-Executive Directors

SINOPEC Engineering (Group) Co., Ltd. (“SINOPEC SEG”) will convene its first extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of 2026 on 30 September 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in Beijing to vote on the appointment of two board members.

Key resolutions 1. Elect Mr Zheng Lijun, aged 57, as Executive Director for the remainder of the fifth Board session. Zheng, a principal senior engineer with a bachelor’s degree, is currently Secretary of the CPC Committee of SINOPEC SEG. His career with Sinopec entities spans more than three decades, including prior roles as Vice President of SINOPEC SEG (2019-2022) and Deputy General Manager of Sinopec Engineering Incorporation (2017-2019). Zheng’s remuneration will be determined in line with national regulations and the company’s performance-based compensation policies.

2. Elect Mr Peng Qianbing, aged 57, as Non-Executive Director for the same board term. Peng is Deputy General Manager of both the Tianjin Branch of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation and Sinopec (Tianjin) New Materials Co., Ltd. A senior engineer with a bachelor’s degree, Peng will not receive remuneration from SINOPEC SEG for his non-executive role.

Both nominees have no reported interests in SINOPEC SEG shares, no past three-year directorships in other listed companies, and no relationships with existing directors, senior management, or controlling shareholders.

Meeting and shareholder arrangements • Record date and book closure: 25–30 September 2026 (both days inclusive). Shareholders registered by close of business on 24 September 2026 are entitled to attend and vote. • Venue: Floor A67, Ande Road, Xicheng District, Beijing. • Proxy deadline: Completed forms must reach the company or Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Ltd. at least 24 hours before the meeting.

Upon shareholder approval, SINOPEC SEG will execute service contracts with both directors effective from the EGM date through the end of the current Board’s term. The Board, including all independent non-executive directors, recommends shareholders vote in favour of the proposed appointments.
