On December 16, the China Fund Advisory Business Insight Report (2025) was released. Since the pilot program launched in 2019, the fund advisory business has undergone qualitative improvements. Key findings include: 76.9% of advisory clients achieved profitability, 13.5 percentage points higher than those investing independently in single funds, with lower loss rates and balanced portfolios. Over 90% of clients maintained portfolios under CNY 100,000. The reinvestment rate rose to 38.2%, with an average holding period of nearly two years. Client satisfaction remained high, with a retention rate of 52.5%. Advisory clients skew younger, with balanced gender representation and mature investment experience. Client demands focus on professional services, retirement planning, and strategy stability, though industry challenges such as improving client education persist. The report provides six recommendations to support high-quality industry development.
