Hebei Region Proposes Cancellation of 100-Megawatt Solar Power Quota

A region in Hebei province has announced plans to revoke a significant solar power generation allocation. The move involves the proposed cancellation of a 100-megawatt photovoltaic project.

The local development and reform bureau in Xushui District, Baoding City, Hebei Province, issued a public notice on June 2nd regarding the proposed adjustment and handling of a new energy project. The notice states that, in order to further strengthen the management of new energy projects and in accordance with provincial and municipal requirements for photovoltaic project work, an assessment was conducted.

Following this review, the Xushui District authorities intend to adjust the disposition of one photovoltaic new energy project. The project in question is titled the Hebei Baoding Xushui District 100MW Photovoltaic Project.

The project entity is identified as Hebei Jizhi Electric Power Technology Co., Ltd., with a planned scale of 100 megawatts. The proposed disposition opinion for this project is cancellation. The specific details of the proposal have been made public.
