AAC Tech Buys Back 300,000 Shares, Boosting Treasury Stock to 42.69 Million

AAC Technologies Holdings Inc. disclosed a repurchase of 300,000 ordinary shares on 20 July 2026 via on-market transactions on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The shares were bought at prices ranging from HKD 38.42 to HKD 39.40, with a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 38.93 per share, translating to a total cash outlay of HKD 11.68 million.

Following the transaction, outstanding shares (excluding treasury stock) declined by 0.03 % to 1.16 billion, while treasury shares increased to 42.69 million. The company’s overall issued share count remained unchanged at 1.20 billion.

The buyback forms part of the mandate approved by shareholders on 21 May 2026, which authorizes AAC Tech to repurchase up to 116.18 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 5.96 million shares, representing 0.51 % of the issued share base at the mandate date. In line with Hong Kong listing rules, the company is restricted from issuing new shares or selling treasury shares until 19 August 2026.
