According to three traders, the Reserve Bank of India likely intervened in the market on Wednesday to curb the rupee's decline. The currency faced pressure from renewed increases in oil prices and significant hedging activity by importers. The rupee fell to a three-week low of 93.84 against the U.S. dollar before recovering slightly to 93.80, marking a 0.3% decline for the day.
