PRODUCTIVE TECH (00650) Secures Purchase Orders for Equipment Prototypes

Stock News10-28

PRODUCTIVE TECH (00650) announced that it has received purchase orders for its 12-inch single-wafer cleaning equipment OCTOPUS from two high-quality semiconductor clients. One customer, a 12-inch wafer foundry, ordered two OCTOPUS units for critical cleaning steps in 28nm process technology. The other, a 12-inch high-performance analog and power device wafer fab, placed an order for one OCTOPUS unit and one CUBE system, a 6-to-12-inch single-wafer cleaning tool.

In addition to these orders, the company recently secured three more CUBE equipment orders from power device customers, with one unit already delivered. Revenue from these orders has not yet been recognized.

The OCTOPUS system, independently developed by PRODUCTIVE TECH, competes with leading global equipment suppliers and is designed for mass production in 12-inch wafer fabs. It covers key semiconductor cleaning processes such as Solvent, RCA, and backside cleaning. The equipment features a standard 16- or 8-chamber configuration, integrating chemical delivery systems and process chambers to deliver higher throughput, flexible process configurations, and lower costs, providing customers with cost-effective solutions.

Previously, the OCTOPUS system has already secured multiple customer orders and passed acceptance tests. Moving forward, the company will focus on fulfilling these orders and leveraging its semiconductor wet-processing expertise to expand adoption among high-quality semiconductor clients in critical applications.
