During the launch event for the new Li Auto L8 model, the company's product line president, Liu Jie, expressed his disagreement with a competitor's sales pitch that "the ultimate destination of extended-range technology is pure electric."
Liu Jie stated that the true endpoint for this technology is what the company terms "5C extended-range."
