Motorists should take note. A fresh round of adjustments to domestic refined oil product prices is scheduled for 24:00 on June 18th.
This pricing cycle commenced on June 5th. Influenced by the recent consecutive declines in international crude oil prices, the projected reduction in domestic fuel prices has continued to widen, expanding from an estimated 0.1 yuan per liter to 0.25 yuan per liter. The market has now entered a phase anticipating a substantial downward correction.
Based on current calculations, by the seventh working day, the expected reductions for gasoline and diesel are projected to reach 290 yuan per ton and 280 yuan per ton, respectively.
Converting these figures to retail prices, 92-octane gasoline is forecast to drop by approximately 0.23 yuan per liter, 95-octane gasoline by 0.25 yuan per liter, and 0-diesel by 0.24 yuan per liter.
A second consecutive monthly decrease in fuel prices for June is now virtually assured. This adjustment is poised to mark the third price reduction for domestic refined oil products within the current year.
