Thailand's Finance Minister Ekniti Nitithanprapas stated that due to conflicts in the Middle East, the country anticipates oil prices will remain high for the next two years.
He remarked, "The era of low oil prices is over and is unlikely to return for at least the next one to two years."
He further added that the government intends to accelerate the adoption of solar power, biofuels, and other renewable energy sources to help mitigate the impact of rising energy costs on households and businesses.
