With the Spring Festival fast approaching, many consumers are opting to purchase their New Year goods online. Consequently, whether courier services will be suspended has become a significant concern. Let's examine the official holiday arrangements released by major courier companies, including S.F. Holding, JD Logistics, Yunda, Best, and Deppon.
S.F. Holding has stated that due to multiple factors such as constrained resource allocation during the holiday period and extreme weather fluctuations, delivery times may be affected to varying degrees. The company has preemptively formulated contingency plans to ensure effective emergency response and strives to maintain smooth parcel operations. S.F. Holding will also implement flexible scheduling of parcels and resources, with dynamic adjustments to certain service fees as follows: 1. From January 19 to February 15, 2026, a resource allocation fee of 0.1-1.5 RMB/kg will be applied to some customers shipping products weighing 20kg or more. 2. During the Spring Festival holiday, from February 16 to February 23, 2026, an additional resource allocation fee will be added to delivery services. 3. Certain long-term, deeply collaborative monthly-billed customers and member clients may be eligible for discounts or waivers on these resource allocation fees.
For JD Logistics' domestic operations, all of its "Asia No. 1" intelligent industrial parks will operate around the clock during the holiday. The company will coordinate with hundreds of regional smart warehouses to establish a stable, nationwide fulfillment network, continuously providing services like "same-day delivery" and "next-day delivery" with a "delivery guarantee" for its vast customer base. Internationally, to ensure uninterrupted service overseas, JD Logistics will maintain operations across more than 130 overseas warehouses, bonded warehouses, and direct mail warehouses, facilitating timely cargo distribution. Currently, its overseas warehouse network spans 23 countries and regions globally. Regarding its freight product services, from January 19 to February 23, 2026, a peak season resource allocation fee of 0.1-1.2 RMB/kg will be added to the base price of its express heavy cargo products. For some monthly-billed cooperative clients, different resource allocation fees will be applied based on their specific cooperation products and varying timeframes. Further details can be obtained from sales managers or via announcements on the merchant platform.
Yunda Express's freight service will observe a holiday break from February 12 to February 23, 2026 (the 25th day of the 12th lunar month to the 7th day of the 1st lunar month), with operations officially resuming on February 24, 2026 (the 8th day of the 1st lunar month). Prior to the holiday, the company's truck routes will be gradually suspended. For specific pickup and delivery times in different locations, customers are advised to consult their local branches.
Best Express's freight service will be closed for the Spring Festival from February 11 (the 24th day of the 12th lunar month) to February 23, 2026 (the 7th day of the 1st lunar month). Full network operations will resume normally on February 24, 2026 (the 8th day of the 1st lunar month). During the holiday, logistics services across various provinces will also be suspended successively. Delivery times for shipments sent before and after the festival may be affected; customers are recommended to make arrangements in advance. Specific suspension dates for pickup and delivery should be confirmed with local outlets.
Deppon Express, committed to fully supporting delivery service demands during the "New Year Goods Festival" and the Spring Festival, will dynamically adjust service charges due to peak season traffic conditions and regional scheduling resource constraints. 1. From January 19 to February 14, 2026, an additional fee of 0.2-0.5 RMB/kg will be applied to some customers and certain products. 2. From February 15 to February 23, 2026, a resource allocation fee will be added for some customers and specific products. For long-term, deeply collaborative clients, different standard resource allocation fees will be charged based on their specific cooperation products; detailed fee standards are available on the order placement page.
Beyond these major couriers, some franchise-based express companies have also officially announced they will maintain operations during the holiday. For instance, STO Express released its New Year Goods Festival support plan on January 23, noting that the 2026 festival period is extended, with order volume peaks approaching Double Eleven levels. During this time, its 76 transfer centers will operate normally, its Daniao "half-day delivery" service will continue, and a "flash sale 4-hour delivery" service will be launched in 12 key cities. Pinduoduo, in its recently launched 2026 "Spring Festival Non-Stop" initiative, announced that YTO Express and J&T Express will serve as special logistics partners during the holiday, providing services to non-stop merchants. Additionally, China Post, as Pinduoduo's exclusive comprehensive strategic partner, will also maintain normal parcel collection services.
