Shares of METIS TECHBIO-P (07666) extended their recent gains, rising over 3% during the trading session. The stock has now accumulated an increase of more than 20% over the past five trading days, pushing its total market capitalization beyond HK$170 billion.

The upward momentum follows the company's recent announcement of a strategic alliance with Deerfield, a leading global health investment and innovation platform. As part of this alliance, Deerfield will engage in deep collaboration with METIS TECHBIO-P on the global clinical development and commercial expansion of the company's self-developed AI-enabled nano-delivery platform, NanoForge, along with its related solutions and core pipeline projects. This includes a leading T-cell engager (TCE) project discovered and advanced to the pre-clinical candidate stage by METIS TECHBIO-P's proprietary AiProtein platform.

Deerfield will further explore potential licensing and development opportunities for this project to facilitate its progression into IND-enabling studies and clinical development phases.
