Shares of optical communication companies rallied collectively in pre-market trading on Thursday. Corning soared more than 8%, poised to reach a new record high.
Meanwhile, Credo Technology Group Holding Ltd climbed 5%, while COHERENT, POET Technologies Inc, and Astera Labs, Inc. each gained over 4%. Applied Optoelectronics and Lumentum also rose more than 3%.
