Leading the Way: Rapid Growth in Advanced Semiconductor Materials As a globally leading semiconductor materials enterprise, Advanced Semiconductor Materials (Anhui) Co., Ltd. was established with investment from AAMI Advanced Packaging Materials International Ltd., a world leader in chip lead frames. The project was initiated in Chuzhou Zhongxin Su-Chu High-Tech Park in November 2020, formally registered in February 2021, and commenced production in the first quarter of 2022. With a registered capital of $160 million, the company occupies 181 acres of land, featuring a construction area exceeding 70,000 square meters and employing nearly 400 staff. Specializing in stamped and etched chip lead frame products, the company leverages high-precision mold design and manufacturing capabilities alongside internationally advanced surface treatment technologies. By 2025, its revenue approached 400 million yuan, marking a 132% year-on-year increase. The site is poised to become AAMI's largest global production base for semiconductor lead frame packaging materials, supplying core products and solutions to multinational chip manufacturers, electronics firms, and LED enterprises.
Regional Integration: Top-Shan Hanhe Economic Development Zone Accelerates Efficiency The newly designated provincial-level development zone—Anhui Chuzhou Top-Shan Hanhe Economic Development Zone—received approval for establishment in March 2025. Encompassing 6.83 square kilometers in southeastern Lai'an County, the zone benefits from dual regional advantages, being within Nanjing's half-hour metropolitan circle and Hefei's one-hour economic sphere, directly facing Nanjing's Jiangbei New District across the river. Its predecessor, the Top-Han functional area, was recognized as one of the province's "Top Ten" development cases and selected as a national exemplary local reform case in 2023. Within the zone, Chuzhou Jietai New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. is investing 12.6 billion yuan to build a smart factory with an annual production capacity of 18 GW of new, high-efficiency solar cells. This facility is not only the industry's first base to achieve large-scale mass production but also the largest in terms of effective N-type cell capacity. Moving forward, the zone aims to benchmark against Nanjing Jiangbei New District, focusing on developing leading industries such as electrical machinery, biomedicine, and specialized equipment. It will promote enterprise expansion, attract supporting projects, and deeply integrate into the Yangtze River Delta's coordinated development.
