Zijin Mining Commits RMB10.00 Million to Support Tibet Earthquake Relief and Reconstruction

On 22 October 2026 a magnitude-7.0 earthquake struck Baqen County in Nagqu City, Tibet, causing significant casualties and extensive damage across the high-altitude region. Responding to the urgent humanitarian needs, Zijin Mining has secured board approval for its Tibet-based subsidiaries to donate RMB10.00 million to fund emergency relief, resident resettlement and long-term reconstruction in the affected area.

The company underscored its commitment to corporate social responsibility and called for broader societal participation in post-disaster recovery efforts. Zijin Mining’s board also reminded investors and shareholders to exercise caution when trading the company’s securities.
