Deep News07-07

According to compiled vessel tracking data, the liquefied natural gas carrier Al Areesh appears to have reversed its course in the Persian Gulf. The vessel was originally heading for the Strait of Hormuz, showing its destination as the Port of Qasim in Pakistan.

This development comes after another LNG transport ship was struck by an unidentified projectile while transiting the strait.

The data indicates that the Al Areesh had loaded liquefied natural gas in Qatar and turned around earlier on Tuesday.
