Lingbao Gold reshuffles top management: He Chengqun named Honorary President, ex-Zijin Mining executive Huang Yuanguang to take helm

Lingbao Gold Group Company Ltd. (Lingbao Gold) has announced key leadership changes aimed at accelerating its internationalisation and professionalisation strategy.

The Board confirmed that effective 21 August 2026, incumbent President He Chengqun will be re-designated as Honorary President while retaining his position as Executive Director. The Board expressed appreciation for Mr. He’s contributions and noted that he has no disagreement with the Board, nor any issues requiring shareholder attention.

Concurrently, the Board appointed Huang Yuanguang as the new President, also effective 21 August 2026. Mr. Huang, born in June 1980, holds an MBA from Lanzhou University and a Bachelor of Economics from Guangdong Ocean University. A qualified economist and recognised high-level innovative talent in Fujian Province, he brings more than 20 years of operational and managerial experience in mining and advanced manufacturing.

From June 2016 to August 2026, Mr. Huang served at Zijin Mining Group, holding roles including: • Vice President, Zijin Gold International Company Limited • CEO, Norton Gold Fields Pty Ltd (Australia) • Chairman, Risk Control and Oversight Committee, Norton Gold Fields Board • Group Human Resources Director and Director of the Reform Office at Zijin Mining

His background spans international operations, M&A, corporate governance, organisational restructuring and global talent development. Mr. Huang has no shareholding in Lingbao Gold and is unaffiliated with the company’s directors, senior management or major shareholders. His remuneration will be set by the board’s remuneration committee based on responsibility, experience, company performance and market benchmarks.

Lingbao Gold’s Board believes Mr. Huang’s appointment will strengthen the Group’s governance framework and support its long-term strategic objectives.
