On December 1, the "Yangzhou Industrial and Supply Chain High-Quality Development Conference," jointly organized by Yangzhou City and S.F. Holding Co., Ltd., was successfully held at Yangzhou Guest House. Centered on the theme "Forging Synergy, Smart Logistics for the Globe," the event brought together government officials, industry experts, and corporate representatives to explore pathways for regional industrial upgrading and high-quality development driven by intelligent supply chains in the new era.
Attendees included Yangzhou Mayor Zheng Haitao, Jiangsu Provincial Postal Administration Director Jiang Bo, Yangzhou Executive Vice Mayor Pan Xueyuan, as well as representatives from the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Postal Administration, and 70 leading local enterprises. S.F. Holding’s delegation featured Vice President and Supply Chain CEO Fei Li, Jiangsu S.F. Express General Manager Xu Xiang, Cold Chain Logistics Head Li Zhengdao, Industrial Equipment Division Head Geng Dong, Retail and Food Industry Head Yu Yongfeng, and Cross-Border Supply Chain Sales Director Bian Chenming.
The conference aimed to pool governmental and corporate expertise to chart a new blueprint for modern logistics and supply chain upgrades in Yangzhou. Discussions focused on the city’s strategic positioning and collaborative approaches. Mayor Zheng highlighted Yangzhou’s geographic centrality in Jiangsu and its multimodal transport network (highway, rail, water, and air), emphasizing its role as a national logistics hub and a key node in the Yangtze River Delta for transportation, international tourism aviation, and river-sea transshipment. He pledged optimized business environments to attract top-tier enterprises in smart logistics, cold chain, and international logistics.
Director Jiang Bo noted Yangzhou’s rapid emergence as a pivotal logistics hub in northern Yangtze River Delta, with policies to foster secure, smart, and green supply chain ecosystems. S.F. Holding VP Fei Li underscored the company’s global logistics network and tech-driven supply chain solutions, serving over 400 international brands. She expressed eagerness to integrate S.F.’s resources with Yangzhou’s industrial strengths, positioning the firm as a strategic partner for local upgrades.
Yangzhou Development and Reform Commission Director Lu Anya presented logistics industry opportunities under the theme "Global S.F., Yangzhou’s Grand Canal." S.F. executives showcased cutting-edge solutions, pledging to support Yangzhou’s industrial chains through: - End-to-end digital supply chain services for advanced manufacturing; - Cold chain innovations for food and hospitality sectors; - Global logistics networks to bolster local enterprises’ international expansion.
The event culminated in the signing of a strategic memorandum between Yangzhou and S.F. Holding. Subsidiary Jiangsu S.F. Express also unveiled manufacturing supply chain and "transport-postal integration" initiatives with Yangzhou High-Tech Zone and Yangzhou Transportation Industry Group, alongside framework agreements with nine local firms.
This conference marked a significant step in aligning S.F.’s smart supply chain capabilities with regional economic growth, injecting momentum into Yangzhou’s "Three Famous City" initiative. Moving forward, S.F. will accelerate upgrades in production and consumer supply chains, advance transport-postal collaborations, and deploy low-altitude logistics and cultural-tourism hubs, leveraging technology and networks to co-create a future of integrated smart logistics and industrial development.
