Biwin Storage Technology Co.,Ltd. (SHSE: 688525) has announced the signing of a routine operational procurement contract with a major memory chip manufacturer, referred to as the supplier.
Under the terms of the agreement, the company will purchase enterprise-grade flash memory chips from the supplier at specified quantities, prices, and times over the contract period.
The total committed procurement value of the contract amounts to $1.8608 billion, with both volume and pricing locked in for a total commitment period of 24 months.
The agreement is applicable to both parties involved and their respective controlled subsidiaries.
According to the contract stipulations, the procurement volume for 2026 represents 4.45% of the company's total NAND FLASH purchases in 2025, a relatively minor proportion.
Similarly, the procurement volume for 2027 accounts for 14.88% of the 2025 total NAND FLASH purchases, also constituting a small share.
The company stated that signing this contract secures a portion of its foundational usage requirements for the next 24 months in advance, aligning with its business scale and strategic planning, and the associated risks are considered overall manageable.
