China Feihe Limited announced that on 13 July 2026 its wholly owned subsidiary, Heilongjiang Feihe Dairy, subscribed to Shanghai Pudong Development Bank’s (SPD Bank) “Shangxin Ruby T+N Phase 132” financial product with idle funds of RMB200.00 million. The non-principal-guaranteed, floating-return product offers an expected annual yield of 2.30% and matures on 14 April 2027.
Including this purchase, China Feihe’s outstanding principal invested in SPD Bank wealth-management and structured-deposit products totals RMB2.60 billion. The board stated that pricing was reached on normal commercial terms, reflecting the availability of surplus cash and the product’s yield relative to standard domestic bank deposits.
Management views the investment as a low-risk avenue to enhance returns while safeguarding liquidity for ongoing operations and dividend payments. Internal controls are in place to ensure that treasury activities do not impair day-to-day funding needs.
Under Hong Kong Listing Rules, the aggregated size of all current and past subscriptions with SPD Bank results in applicable percentage ratios exceeding 5% but below 25%. Consequently, the transactions are classified as discloseable and require public announcement but do not trigger a shareholder approval requirement.
