Are the negatives fully priced in? The A-share market is staging a major rebound! Today (October 28), physical AI concept stocks continued to be active, with Opt Machine Vision leading gains of over 14%, TZTEK Technology rising more than 9%, and Orbbec-W, Scantech and other stocks posting significant follow-on gains, while heavyweight Cambricon Technologies Corporation Limited (ASX: 688256) climbed over 5%. The STAR AI ETF Huabao (589520), which has 30% physical AI exposure, saw its tracking index probe as high as 3.96% intraday and is currently up 3.76%, having potentially established an upward trend on the daily candlestick chart since this round's low point on October 15.

On the policy front, on October 27, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization issued the "Shanghai Action Plan for Accelerating the Development of Next-Generation Intelligent Manufacturing," which mentioned cultivating single-point implementation service providers in areas such as corpus services, digital twins, and AI Agents; and supporting innovative breakthroughs in robots including humanoid robots, collaborative robots, and high-precision heavy-duty robots. Previously, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, and the National Development and Reform Commission successively issued policy documents including the "Implementation Opinions on the Standardized Application and Innovative Development of Intelligent Agents" and the "Notice on Carrying Out the 2026 Innovation Task Open Call in the Industrial and Information Technology Field," promoting the industrialization of physical AI.

Guosen Securities pointed out that industrial manufacturing scenarios have the characteristics of clear task boundaries and relatively standardized processes, making them the primary environment for the deployment of intelligent technologies. In the short term, embodied intelligence will first create quantifiable efficiency gains in closed or semi-closed industrial tasks. CITIC Securities believes that the recent rapid rise in attention to physical AI and edge-side applications, catalyzed by industry events such as NVIDIA's GTC conference, combined with the relatively sufficient sector correction and divergent expectations in the storage industry, has jointly driven the outbreak of the physical AI sector rally.

Notably, the underlying index of STAR AI ETF Huabao (589520) encompasses physical AI concept stocks (Cambricon, Hygon Information, MetaX, Orbbec, Scantech, Opt Machine Vision, Luster LightTech, TZTEK Technology, CloudWalk Technology), with physical AI concept stocks accounting for 29.91% of weight and edge-side AI concept stocks accounting for 38.60% of weight as of the end of September.
