NVIDIA's founder and CEO, Jensen Huang, has refuted claims that manufacturing issues could lead to product delays, stating that the company's next-generation AI acceleration computing system is in production and will be delivered to customers as scheduled.
Speaking to reporters in Tokyo on Wednesday, Huang indicated that the Vera Rubin hardware is on track for "large-scale" production, though he did not provide a specific timeline.
Earlier this month, research firm SemiAnalysis reported that the launch of NVIDIA's next-generation AI server rack system would be delayed due to manufacturing difficulties with a specialized circuit board used to connect electronic modules.
Huang responded to these claims, stating, "These statements are not true. Vera Rubin is in production, and large-scale production is about to begin."
Huang added, "We haven't actually started shipping in large volumes yet."
