EGP Energy secures 1.1 million Singapore dollar contract, boosting order book to 302.4 million Singapore dollars

Singapore, Jul, 29 2026 – EGP Energy Corporation Limited (EGX) has won a transmission and distribution project worth about 1.1 million Singapore dollars through its wholly owned unit, EGP Smart Energy Pte Ltd.

The contract covers the supply of a 66 kV switchgear for a battery energy storage system in Singapore and is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2027. The customer is a Singapore-based mechanical and electrical engineering firm.

With this award, EGP Energy’s order book rises to 302.4 million Singapore dollars, which will be recognised progressively through 2031. The current backlog is about 7.8 times the company’s revenue of 39 million Singapore dollars for the financial year ended 2025.

EGP Energy began trading on the Singapore Exchange Mainboard on Jul, 29 2026.
