MCC logs dual-market buybacks on 22 July; H-share repurchase reaches 29.13 million shares under current mandate

Metallurgical Corporation of China Ltd. (MCC) filed a Next Day Disclosure Return for 22 July 2026, detailing additional share buybacks in both its Hong Kong-listed H-shares and Shanghai-listed A-shares, while the company’s issued share capital remains unchanged.

H-share activity (HKEX) • 1.62 million H-shares were repurchased on 22 July at HKD 1.53–1.54, for a total consideration of HKD 2.50 million. • Since the 29 June 2026 mandate, MCC has bought back 29.13 million H-shares—1.03 % of the 2.84 billion H-shares in issue and 10.27 % of the 283.90 million shares authorised under the mandate. • All repurchased H-shares are earmarked for cancellation, and a 30-day moratorium on new share issues runs to 21 August 2026.

A-share activity (SSE) • 3.21 million A-shares were repurchased on 22 July at RMB 2.66–2.67, costing RMB 8.56 million. • Cumulative A-shares pending cancellation now stand at 154.80 million, equal to approximately 0.87 % of the 17.85 billion A-shares outstanding.

Capital structure • As of the close on 22 July 2026, MCC’s issued share capital totals 2.84 billion H-shares and 17.85 billion A-shares. The repurchased shares have not yet been cancelled, so the official share count is unchanged.

The disclosure confirms that all repurchases were executed in compliance with Hong Kong Listing Rules and Shanghai Stock Exchange regulations.
