According to Zhitong Finance APP, Jiaxin International Resources (03858) rose nearly 6% in early trading. As of press time, it gained 4.82% to HK$38.68, with a turnover of HK$54.40 million.
On the news front, on October 19, CME Group announced it will launch tungsten futures contracts to meet growing market demand for price risk management tools. It is reported that CME plans to launch the contract in the first quarter of 2027. The contract will adopt a cash settlement method, which means buyers cannot obtain tungsten through physical delivery of the contract, but can use the contract to hedge against risks brought by tungsten price fluctuations.
Guotou Securities International previously pointed out that Jiaxin International Resources is a pure tungsten concentrate target on the Hong Kong stock market. Benefiting from the increase in average selling prices of tungsten concentrate in the first half of the year and the increase in output, the company turned around its net profit attributable to shareholders in the first half of the year, achieving rapid growth.
