On July 10, Industrial Bank Co.,Ltd. (ASX: 601166) announced that Sun Xiongpeng has resigned from his position as Vice President due to a change in work duties. Following his resignation, Sun Xiongpeng will continue to serve as Deputy Party Secretary, Director, and a member of the Board's Strategy and ESG Committee.
Mid-Level Management Changes
Beyond senior executives, this period also sees personnel adjustments among the bank's middle management. The General Manager positions at the Head Office's Wealth Management Department and Credit Card Center are set to welcome new leaders, both of whom are being transferred from the role of President at first-tier branches. Additionally, recent changes have occurred in the President roles at two subsidiaries: Industrial Consumer Finance and Industrial Futures.
Head Office and Branch Appointments
Liu Bingwen, the General Manager of the Head Office's Credit Card Center, has been reassigned as a Business Inspector for the Credit Card Center. A graduate of the Economics Department of Xiamen University, Liu has extensive frontline experience at the bank's branches, having served as Deputy President of the Zhangzhou Branch, President of the Longyan Branch, President of the Guiyang Branch, and President of the Wuhan Branch. He was appointed General Manager of the Head Office Credit Card Center in November 2023.
Ren Hongbin, currently President of the Changsha Branch, is slated to take over as General Manager of the Credit Card Center. He previously served as Assistant President and Vice President of the Suzhou Branch and became President of the Changsha Branch in November 2025.
Li Taishun, President of the Suzhou Branch, is proposed to become the General Manager of the Head Office's Wealth Management Department. He formerly held the position of General Manager of the Small and Medium Enterprise Department and President of Industrial Inclusive Technology. He assumed the role of Suzhou Branch President in June 2024.
The former General Manager of the Wealth Management Department, Li Li, has already taken up the position of Party Committee Secretary at the Tianjin Branch.
Business Performance Highlights
At the beginning-of-year performance briefing, the bank stated that its wealth management business achieved a "dual improvement" in both customer value and bank revenue. In 2025, it withstood industry fee pressure, with retail wealth management intermediary business income growing nearly 20% year-on-year, supported by wealth management products, funds, and securities asset management. Throughout the year, it created approximately 58.7 billion yuan in wealth returns for retail clients, a 21% increase. By the end of 2025, the group's retail Assets Under Management (AUM) balance reached 5.86 trillion yuan, up 14.76%.
In Q1 2026, the bank achieved net fee and commission income of 7.228 billion yuan, a 7.45% year-on-year increase, with wealth management and custody intermediation income growing 17.5% and 11.8%, respectively.
Regarding credit card operations, the bank is focused on returning to consumption fundamentals, accelerating the transition to a "transaction-driven" and "steady-state revenue" model. In 2025, it issued 1.9064 million new cards, with transaction volume reaching 1,736.862 billion yuan. Card issuance quality improved, and risk trends stabilized, with both the non-performing amount and ratio for credit cards achieving a "double decline" in 2025.

Apart from the leaders of these two retail departments, there have been other personnel exchanges between the head office and branches:
Qu Guozhu, Assistant President of the Guiyang Branch, has been appointed Assistant General Manager of the Head Office's International Business/Trade Banking Department. He previously served as Director of the Market Development Division in the Head Office's Trade Finance Department and Director of the Product Innovation Division in the Trade Banking Department, becoming Assistant President of Guiyang Branch in July 2025.
Li Xiaoyu, Assistant General Manager of the Head Office's International Business/Trade Banking Department, is proposed to become Vice President of the Guangzhou Branch. His past roles include General Manager of the Trade Banking Department at the Taiyuan Branch and Director of the Cross-border Financing Division in the Head Office's Trade Banking Department (International Business Department).
Wang Lei will no longer serve concurrently as General Manager of the Technology Service Center within the Technology Management Department.
Li Dinghua, General Assistant of the Head Office's Institutional Business Department, has been appointed Deputy General Manager of the Green Finance/Strategic Client Department.
Yan Hui, Director of the General Office Division at the Head Office, has been appointed a Business Instructor in the Financial Market Risk Management Department.

Industrial Consumer Finance Adjustments
Liu Qinghua, President of Industrial Consumer Finance, has been transferred to become a Business Inspector at Industrial Bank's Shenzhen Branch. He previously served as Assistant President and Vice President of the Nanning Branch, became President of the Haikou Branch in October 2021, and assumed the role of President of Industrial Consumer Finance in September 2024.
Liu Liyi, Vice President of Industrial Bank's Haikou Branch, is proposed to become Vice President of Industrial Consumer Finance. He previously worked in the Hefei Regional Business Department of Industrial Consumer Finance and later served as Assistant General Manager of the Head Office's Retail Credit Department, becoming Vice President of Haikou Branch in September 2024.
Industrial Consumer Finance Co., Ltd. was established in December 2014 with registered capital of 5.32 billion yuan. Industrial Bank holds a 66% stake. Its business scope primarily includes issuing personal consumer loans, issuing financial bonds, borrowing from domestic financial institutions, and domestic interbank lending. By the end of 2025, its total loan balance was 75.47 billion yuan. Since its establishment, it has served over 41 million customers and disbursed consumer credit exceeding 500 billion yuan.
As of the end of 2025, Industrial Consumer Finance had total assets of 77.991 billion yuan and net assets of 12.507 billion yuan. In 2025, it achieved operating revenue of 8.888 billion yuan and net profit of 1.2 billion yuan, a significant increase of 179.07% compared to 430 million yuan the previous year.
New Leadership at Industrial Futures
Registration information from the Futures Industry Association shows that Chen Xian assumed the role of General Manager at Industrial Futures on June 29, and Zhao Zhengyi was appointed Assistant General Manager on July 1.
Previously, Chen Xian served as Vice President of Industrial Bank's Guangzhou Branch and held positions as Assistant President and Vice President of the bank's Hong Kong Branch.
Industrial Futures Co., Ltd. was re-established in 2014 with registered capital of 500 million yuan. It is a first-tier subsidiary of Industrial Bank, with a business scope covering commodity futures brokerage, financial futures brokerage, futures trading advisory, and asset management, among others. By the end of 2025, its total assets reached 13.615 billion yuan, with owner's equity of 763 million yuan. Its asset management business scale was 10.249 billion yuan, a 59% increase from the end of the previous year.
