Since the National Arts Fund released its 2026 application guidelines on March 20, Gansu’s cultural authorities organized training sessions and reviewed 332 submissions—a 31% annual increase, ranking 15th nationally. After online evaluations, 47 projects advanced to the final review stage (triple the prior year’s count).
The nine finalized grants place Gansu second among northwestern China’s provinces, reflecting improved project quality and artistic standards.
