Anticipated Fuel Price Adjustment This Friday

Deep News08-12 23:14

As of August 12, there are only two days remaining until the adjustment window opens on August 24 at midnight. During the early stages of the pricing cycle, expectations for a reduction in fuel prices grew, with the projected decrease steadily increasing.

However, recent international crude oil prices have rebounded sharply, causing the expected reduction to decline. Currently, the estimated price cuts are 345 yuan per tonne for gasoline and 335 yuan per tonne for diesel. This translates to a decrease of approximately 0.28 yuan per litre for 92-octane gasoline and 0.29 yuan per litre for both 95-octane gasoline and 0 diesel.

Should international oil prices remain at elevated levels, the anticipated reduction may narrow further. It is important to note that the pricing cycle still has several statistical days remaining, and variables may change. All official announcements will be based on the National Development and Reform Commission's final declaration.
