Agricultural Bank of China Limited (ABC) has finalized the issuance of its “2026 Tier 2 Capital Notes (Series 2) (Bond Connect)” in the National Interbank Bond Market. Book building was conducted on 26 August 2026, and settlement was completed on 28 August 2026.
The offering totals RMB50.00 billion in 10-year fixed-rate notes, carrying a coupon of 1.87%. ABC retains a conditional redemption option exercisable on the last day of the fifth anniversary year.
In line with regulatory approvals, all proceeds will be applied toward strengthening the bank’s Tier 2 capital base.
