These include Wei's Liangpi, Wei Zhizu Cinema-Style Foot Cafe, Wei Beidao Izakaya, Wei Xintang Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic, and Xiang Wei'er Hunan Cuisine. Recently, an online user shared a video dubbing it "Wei Family Street."
On July 17th, a staff member from Xi'an Huarong Wei's Catering Management Co., Ltd., the parent company of Wei's Liangpi, explained that all these outlets are multiple sub-brands under the company's umbrella. They have successively moved in and commenced operations in 2024 and 2025. The video shows a commercial street hosting Wei Sili Burger, Wei's Liangpi, Xiang Wei'er Hunan Cuisine, Wei Zhizu Cinema-Style Foot Cafe, Wei Beidao Izakaya, and Wei Xintang Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic. It was noted that these shops are located on the same side of the street, nearly adjacent to one another. The online user posted that on July 15th, while passing Tiandiyuan Yuexi Plaza on Tai Bai South Road in Yanta District, Xi'an, they saw multiple "Wei"-prefixed shops lining the street, suggesting it might be Xi'an's most authoritative "Wei Family Street."
The video sparked lively discussion online. Some netizens commented, "Welcome to Xi'an's Wei Universe," "Their burgers are big, affordable, and taste great," "This is how you cultivate a big Wei pocket," "Among the ancient states, Wei is still most authoritative in Xi'an," and "It's practically the new dining choice for contemporary workers."
On July 17th, a representative from the property management of Tiandiyuan Yuexi Plaza was contacted. The staff member explained that these shops primarily lease the street-front spaces directly from landlords, and property management only oversees the shops, with no specific knowledge of their move-in dates or operational timelines.
A staff member from Xi'an Huarong Wei's Catering Management Co., Ltd., clarified that the Liangpi restaurant, burger joint, Hunan cuisine restaurant, foot cafe, izakaya, and TCM clinic located at the street level of Tiandiyuan Yuexi Plaza on Tai Bai South Road are all sub-brands belonging to the company. They have been progressively entering the street and opening for business since 2024 and into 2025. Public information shows that Xi'an Huarong Wei's Catering Management Co., Ltd. was established in 2012 and is primarily engaged in the catering industry. Its fast-food chain brand, Wei's Liangpi, operates nearly 400 stores nationwide. In recent years, the brand has initiated a national expansion strategy and developed sub-brands such as Wei Ke Coffee and Wei Sili Burger, forming an operational model combining directly-operated and franchised stores.
