Tencent's WorkBuddy Receives Major Update with WeChat Integration, Now Fully Available

Tencent's self-developed AI-native desktop intelligent assistant platform, WorkBuddy, has undergone a significant upgrade. According to the company, the platform now supports direct integration with WeChat, enabling users to remotely operate their office computers via mobile devices simply by sending a message. The feature is available starting today, and all users can access it by downloading or updating the application.

Tencent stated that in the new version, users can easily configure the WeChat customer service account in the settings to enable one-click direct connection. By sending a voice or text message through WeChat, WorkBuddy on the office computer will immediately begin tasks such as searching for information, drafting content, or processing reports. The entire operation runs locally, ensuring user privacy and security.
