Fuel Prices Set to Rise Tonight – What Motorists Should Know

Attention, drivers! Starting from midnight on July 31, fuel prices across Guangdong will see a new adjustment.

According to monitoring by the National Development and Reform Commission's Price Monitoring Center, during this round of refined oil price adjustment (from 24:00 on July 17 to 24:00 on July 31), international oil prices generally experienced more gains than losses, showing periodic fluctuations due to global factors. The average price for this cycle significantly exceeded the previous one.

Based on the national refined oil pricing mechanism and considering recent changes in international oil prices, the National Development and Reform Commission has decided to raise domestic refined oil prices starting at 24:00 on July 31, 2026. Nationwide, the average price per liter for 92-octane gasoline, 95-octane gasoline, and 0-diesel will increase by 0.54 yuan, 0.57 yuan, and 0.56 yuan, respectively. On the current pricing basis, the per-ton prices of gasoline and diesel in our province will rise by 685 yuan and 655 yuan, respectively. After the adjustment, the maximum retail prices for refined oil in our province are listed in the table below.
