Hangzhou Boomy Intelligent Technology (688290.SH) Plans to Establish a Controlling Subsidiary to Develop New Business in Advanced Nuclear Energy Systems and Key Equipment

Hangzhou Boomy Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (688290.SH) announced its plan to establish a controlling subsidiary, tentatively named Hangzhou Jinghan Nengdong Technology Co., Ltd. ("the new company"), with a registered capital of 50 million yuan. The company intends to contribute 17.5 million yuan in cash, representing a 35% stake; Yang Xingtuan plans to invest 11.35 million yuan for a 22.7% share; Hangzhou Jingrun Self-owned Capital Investment Partnership (Limited Partnership) is set to invest 8 million yuan for a 16% stake; Lai Jianliang plans to contribute 7.5 million yuan for a 15% share; Hangzhou Hegong Self-owned Capital Investment Partnership (Limited Partnership) will invest 5 million yuan for a 10% stake; and Wan Li intends to invest 650,000 yuan for a 1.3% share. The new company's primary business will focus on the research and development, design, and manufacturing of advanced nuclear energy systems and their key equipment.

It is noted that among the other investors in this transaction, Lai Jianliang is the company's Chairman and actual controller, while the executive partner of Hangzhou Jingrun Self-owned Capital Investment Partnership (Limited Partnership), Hangzhou Zhihe Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. ("Zhihe Technology"), is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company. Furthermore, the team's technical lead, Professor Yang Xingtuan, holds a Ph.D. from Tsinghua University and has long been deeply engaged in teaching and scientific research in nuclear energy science and engineering, having previously served as the Vice President of the Institute of Nuclear and New Energy Technology at Tsinghua University and as the Vice Chairman of the National Professional Committee on Reactor Thermal-Hydraulics.
