The Taixin Expressway expansion project, covering the section from Culai Junction to Xintai Junction, is currently progressing at an accelerated pace. Since the closure of the left-side carriageway (Xintai to Tai'an direction) on March 20, earthwork and bridge construction activities have been fully launched. As of April 7, project officials reported that earthwork engineering is 21.2% complete, bridge and culvert works have reached 30.7%, pile foundation work stands at 29.8%, and pier column construction has achieved 10.3% completion. A key milestone of the project, the Chaiwen River Bridge, has seen 82 of its total 92 planned pile foundations completed, with remaining structural components now under rapid construction.
