Futures Open Mixed as Crude Oil Surges Over 3% in Early Trading

During the morning session opening on September 1, 2026, domestic futures主力合约 exhibited mixed performance, with notable gains in energy-related contracts and declines in precious metals and some industrial commodities.

On the upside, SC crude oil, Ethylene Glycol (EG), Asphalt, Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Methanol, and Styrene (EB) all advanced by more than 3%. Additionally, the Plastic contract recorded a near 3% increase in its monthly average.

Conversely, on the downside, Silver (沪银) fell by over 2%, while Gold (沪金), Coke, Coking Coal, Rapeseed Oil, Containerized Shipping (European route), and Stainless Steel (SS) each dropped by more than 1%.
