Deyang's Jingxiu Guihua Smart Agriculture Innovation Center Named One of Only Five Provincial Pilot Sites for 2026 Spark Science and Technology Museums

The China Association for Science and Technology's Enterprise Innovation Service Center has officially announced the list of selected pilot units for the 2026 Park (Enterprise) Spark Science and Technology Museum program. The Jingxiu Guihua Smart Agriculture Innovation Center in Jingyang District, Deyang City, has successfully secured a place among only five selected units across the entire province.

The construction of the Park (Enterprise) Spark Science and Technology Museum is a key initiative spearheaded by the China Association for Science and Technology. The project aims to selectively cultivate a group of enterprise science education bases characterized by distinct industrial features, stable long-term operations, and strong demonstration and radiation capabilities, turning them into the "sparks" that ignite public scientific enthusiasm, disseminate cutting-edge technological knowledge, and serve innovative development.

Located in Guihua Village, Xinzhong Town, Jingyang District, Deyang City, the Jingxiu Guihua Smart Agriculture Innovation Center spans 8,000 square meters with a building area of approximately 3,300 square meters. The facility houses 55 interactive exhibits from mobile science museums, complemented by a smart agriculture big data visualization platform. It is equipped with research classrooms, handicraft workshops, lecture halls, and science reading rooms. Outdoors, the center features 5G unmanned farms, smart greenhouses, and intelligent agricultural machinery demonstration fields, creating an immersive field-based science classroom for smart agriculture that encourages both observation and hands-on participation.

The center follows an integrated development path combining "modern agriculture, nature education, and intangible cultural heritage inheritance," establishing a comprehensive science education operational system across four key dimensions: science resources, science scenarios, science business models, and science services. As an authorized unit of the "Walking Sichuan" research tourism brand, the center can accommodate up to 300 people per session for research and learning activities, having received over 30,000 participants cumulatively to date.
