China Aluminum Cans completes 12.20 million-share buyback; issued share count unchanged pending cancellation

China Aluminum Cans Holdings Limited disclosed that it repurchased a total of 12.20 million ordinary shares on 7–8 July 2026 under its existing share-buyback mandate.

Key figures • Shares repurchased: – 10.00 million shares on 7 July at HKD 0.85 each – 2.20 million shares on 8 July within a price range of HKD 0.85–0.87, averaging HKD 0.86 • Aggregate consideration: HKD 10.40 million • Portion of share capital: 12.20 million shares equal 1.29 % of the 944.05 million issued shares approved at the 22 May 2026 mandate date.

Capital structure • Opening and closing balance of issued shares (excluding treasury shares) remained at 944.05 million because the repurchased shares have not yet been cancelled. • No treasury shares were held before or after the transactions.

Mandate utilisation • The current mandate authorises repurchases of up to 94.40 million shares; after the latest transactions, 12.20 million shares (12.93 % of the mandate) have been utilised.

Regulatory notes • The board confirmed that the repurchases complied with Hong Kong Listing Rules. • A moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share sales applies through 8 July 2026 in accordance with Rule 10.06(3)(a).
