ALSCO Pooling Service taps Moore Advisory for comprehensive internal control review; trading still halted

Bulletin Express05-22

ALSCO Pooling Service Co., Ltd. has appointed Moore Advisory Services Limited as an independent consultant to lead a full internal control review, a key step required by Hong Kong Stock Exchange resumption guidance after the company’s trading suspension on 30 March 2026 at 1:00 p.m.

The review must demonstrate that material deficiencies linked to the suspension have been rectified and that internal controls are adequate for Listing Rules compliance in areas such as financial reporting, disclosure, and notifiable and connected transactions.

Scope of work: • Entity-level controls aligned with Listing Rules. • Operational-level controls under the COSO framework, covering financial reporting and disclosure management, treasury, investment and financing management, and contract management.

Selection rationale for Moore Advisory: • Part of Moore Hong Kong, established in 1975, with more than 20 partners/principals and around 300 staff. • Confirmed independence following a comprehensive review; no business ties with ALSCO Pooling Service or its connected persons. • A dedicated team of at least four qualified internal-control professionals will execute the engagement.

ALSCO Pooling Service will issue further updates on the review’s progress and findings. Trading in the company’s H shares will remain suspended until all resumption conditions are satisfied. Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution in dealing with the securities.
