[Click to register] Sina Tech News, October 16 afternoon report: Faraday Future ("FF") and FF EAI Robotics Ecosystem Inc. (abbreviated as "FFR") jointly held a series of new product launches, announcing that two brand-new robots have officially joined the "one brain, multiple forms, multiple functions" FF Robot World 2.0: FF Nova, the first entry-level embodied intelligent humanoid robot in the United States priced under $2,500, and FF Nova Mini, a Physical AI启蒙 education humanoid robot.

At the same time, they also released the EAI Education Skills product—the Physical AI enlightenment program course, launched a reinforcement learning developer program for FF Nova and started limited recruitment for the developer community, and announced that all robot products will be sold simultaneously through both online and offline omnichannel sales.

FF Nova, with a base price of $2,490, is the first entry-level embodied intelligent humanoid robot in the United States priced under $2,500—a Physical AI laboratory in your backpack. Its target audience is divided into two categories: one is developers, geeks, and Physical AI KOLs; the other is education, teaching research, and training institutions, as well as students interested in Physical AI. FF Nova is equipped with an on-device computing platform and a multimodal sensor matrix, with LiDAR, wide-angle vision, depth perception, and a circular microphone array working in coordination; Nova has a total of 20 degrees of freedom across its body and two movement modes; it also connects to a large speech model, supports natural dialogue and voiceprint recognition, and opens AI Agent access; in addition, Nova natively supports a developer platform, provides a complete and open SDK, is oriented toward the ROS 2 development workflow, and supports continuous OTA iteration.

FF Nova has officially opened online applications and invitation-only limited sales, released in three phases: the first phase is limited sales of 100 units to developers and educational institutions, with the first batch of 20 units to be delivered immediately; the second phase is for all developers and educational institutions; the third phase is the full release of the consumer version. FF Nova Mini is the first Physical AI enlightenment education platform in the United States built on a true bipedal humanoid form, with a total weight of less than 1 kilogram and an aluminum alloy frame.

Nova Mini has a base price of $299, and its accompanying course is priced at $499. FFAI and FFR also jointly released the FF EAI Education Skills product—the Physical AI enlightenment program course, priced at $499, lasting two months, with a total of 16 class hours of small-group live classes. In addition, the company also simultaneously launched the Physical AI reinforcement learning developer program and started invitation-only limited recruitment for the developer community.

At the launch event, FFAI and FFR stated that the two parties officially signed a final agreement on October 12, under which FFR will acquire all of FFAI's robot assets and business through an all-stock transaction, with all closings expected to be completed before the end of this month. After the transaction is completed, FFR will become the first Pure-Play stock in the U.S. market for a "four-core all-intelligence" humanoid and bionic EAI robot ecosystem, with the goal of maintaining a top-three comprehensive ranking in the EAI robot industry over the next five years. At the same time, FFR has completed the signing of its first round of PIPE financing of no more than $10 million.

"FF Nova is an important step for FFR to further lower the barrier to the adoption of humanoid embodied intelligent robots," said Jia Yueting, founder and global CEO of FF. "From entry-level robots to research and development platforms, from family desks to classrooms, laboratories, and real application scenarios, FF is using its full line of Physical AI products, Skills, and courses to enable more developers, researchers, educational institutions, and learners to have their own Physical AI platform and jointly participate in and promote the once-in-a-century industrial development opportunity of Physical AI."
