On the afternoon of April 12, Neolix CEO Yu Enyuan spoke with media outlets, including SINA Corp, during the 2026 High-Level Forum on Intelligent Electric Vehicle Development.

Yu Enyuan stated that autonomous vehicles will not replace couriers but will optimize their work patterns. He explained, "Couriers work year-round without breaks, logging 10-hour days. Six hours are spent climbing stairs to collect and deliver packages, while four hours are dedicated to transportation. Autonomous vehicles will take over the transportation segment, allowing couriers to focus on customer service." He further elaborated that the entire logistics process involves 22 steps, with machines handling tasks unsuitable for humans, thereby enabling people to undertake more valuable services.

Additionally, Yu revealed that the previously raised $6 billion in funding will be primarily allocated to research and development, with a focus on AI integration. "This year is critical for the AI boom, as AI technology undergoes comprehensive iteration—from foundational models to applications and management concepts. The funds will be heavily invested in AI talent and algorithm development," he noted.
