Wang Ning, Chairman and CEO of Pop Mart, recently stated in an interview that the company may face challenges related to its organizational structure in the future. He noted that rapid business growth often masks underlying issues. If the company becomes overly focused on high growth rates and the apparent success of LABUBU, these problems could accumulate and evolve into more significant concerns.
Wang Ning also expressed that he is not worried about a sudden decline in the popularity of IPs like LABUBU. He explained that when consumers bring these products home, they continue to build emotional connections with them, which in turn generates new value.
