BENQ HOLDING Reports 57.3% Decline in First-Half Net Profit

Stock News08-06

BENQ HOLDING (02581) has released its interim financial results for the 2026 fiscal year, reporting a 2.4% increase in revenue to approximately RMB 1.344 billion. However, net profit fell sharply by 57.3% to RMB 20.814 million, with basic and diluted earnings per share standing at RMB 0.07.

The gross profit margin during the period decreased from approximately 15.9% to 13.4%. This decline was primarily attributed to two factors: the commencement of operations at the second phase of Nanjing BenQ Hospital, which led to an additional RMB 9.7 million in depreciation and amortization expenses, along with a RMB 2.6 million increase in maintenance costs and miscellaneous procurement expenses. Additionally, the company's workforce expanded, resulting in a RMB 9.6 million rise in employee costs.
